The Place for Children with Autism offers ABA therapy in a preschool setting for children on the Autism spectrum between the ages of 2 through 6. Our focus is to serve children in high risk areas where services are not normally readily available. We currently have two locations in Chicago and will be opening two more locations in January of 2018. The Place for Children with Autism and Grupo Salto, a UIC affiliate, have collaborated in opening The Autism Family Center in Pilsen. The community based resource center will have resources readily available for families with questions on Autism and ABA therapy, as well as offer workshops for parents. The Autism Family Center will officially open on November 20th.
At The Place for Children with Autism we understand the financial hardships many families face when seeking ABA therapy services for their child. We strongly believe that every child deserves the opportunity to be given the tools to succeed, which is why we’ve gathered the necessary resources available for parents to allocate the funding needed for ABA therapy.
It starts with us. We need awareness within our communities and we need funding in order for the children in our communities to receive the therapy they deserve in order to lead happy and productive lives. Here at The Place, we plan on changing how, who and where ABA therapy is received. We would truly appreciate your support in what we feel is an incredible resource to our city.
