Chicago (CBS) — A 20-year-old man was shot by police in North Lawndale, according to Chicago police.
Police officers attempted to stop a car during a traffic stop when the car fled and ultimately crashed, police said. Armed individuals exited the car and got into a confrontation with police.
Police shot the 20-year-old man.
A 37-year-old man was also injured but was not shot.
Both men were taken to hospitals.
