Winter WonderFest comes back to Navy Pier

Winter-Wonder-Fest_webadd translationChicago’s favorite wintertime extravaganza returns this year with over 170,000 square-feet of fun including new rides, attractions and entertainment.  Come celebrate the holiday season with Navy Pier at WinterWonderfest presented by Bank of America running Dec. 6, 2013 – Jan. 12, 2014.

New Winter WonderFest activities include the 28-foot tall zip-line, Ice Line Express, where you can fly through Winter WonderAir and the Hot Cocoa Cups, an exciting addition that allows you and your friends to spin around in giant cups, similar to the beloved spinning tea cups.  Also new to Winter WonderFest is the Arctic Plunge, a large inflatable slide featuring polar bears and penguins, as well as the Snowman Bouncer that lets you bounce inside a 38-foot tall snowman.  Winter WonderFest Jr., a special section for children under 36” tall, has been expanded this year and includes a Gumball Bouncer, Santa’s Workshop Bouncer, Snowball Blitz, Tinsel Tunnels and the Toddler Obstacle Course.

Beloved Winter WonderFest favorites like the Ferris Wheel, Kringle Carousel and Blackhawks Ice Skating Rink will be making their return this season.  Our 42-foot tall Christmas tree will shine as the centerpiece of Winter WonderFest along with hundreds of other decorated trees.

Admission to Winter WonderFest is free and activity wristbands are available for purchase online now.  For more information, visit: navypier.com.
