[dropcap]S[/dropcap]t. Joseph Services, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to serve and support families and individuals who are at risk and low income, offers free adult English, citizenship and computer classes this new school year in Humboldt Park.
If you or someone you know is looking to improve their English and refine their computer skills, please register for classes offered at St. Joseph Services. Registration starts on Sept. 1.
The English and citizenship classes are free and are organized in small groups or one-on-one tutoring sessions, while computer classes only require a low cost of $20, which covers registration and materials. Topics covered include: computer basics, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint Internet and email.
Registration will take place at 1510 N. Claremont Ave., Chicago, Ill. 60622.
The dates and times for registration are:
→ Tuesday, Sept. 1 at 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
→ Thursday, Sept. 3 at 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
