“I’m no Romeo” comedy show with Elizardi Castro and the salsa rhythms of Johnny Rivera come together to form a great combination of love, laughter and music as the ideal way to celebrate Valentine’s Day on Feb. 14. Elizardi, masterful storyteller, actor, comedian, and playwright has written, directed and performed I’m no Romeo a romantic comedy that will have everyone roaring in their seats.
Born in Puerto Rico and raised in New York, Elizardi has been blazing the stages and delighting audiences of all ages. His animated and physical comedic style has made him an audience favorite everywhere he performs. His critically acclaimed shows have been reviewed and recommended by numerous publications including the Chicago Sun-Times and the Orlando Sentinel. His shows have also been featured on WGN-TV, Telemundo and Univision.
In I’m no Romeo he explores the different stages of relationships in an effort to seek truth and find the love he has been looking for. Adding to that the romantic salsa of Sony Recording Artist Johhny Rivera, direct from Puerto Rico, the night promises to be one of the best Valentine’s Day anyone can enjoy.
Johnny Rivera was born and raised in a Puerto Rican family and later settled in New York’s Bronx. After a temporary visit to Puerto Rico, the artist returned to New York, to immerse himself in the tropical music scene.
This great Valentine’s Day Show will be presented at the Copernicus Center Theater, 5216 W. Lawrence Ave. in Chicago. Parking is available and the show is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for general audience are $40 and VIP $60. They can be purchased through elicastro.com.
