[dropcap]L[/dropcap]osing weight is an uphill battle. Eating healthy is also a challenge. As a curvy girl I have been dealing with weight gain and unhealthy living almost all my life. However, the last five years have been the worst for me since this is when I gained the most weight. Diets and I don’t work because I love food. I needed someone to push me, help me reach my goal. That’s when I joined Farrell’s Extreme Bodyshaping and their 10 week program. The program is extremely intense. The first day I did it, I was begging for mercy already. But I kept going and didn’t give up. My challenge was attendance since I have a demanding carrier and because few weeks along the way I injured my lower back. But even that didn’t stop me from going. I enjoyed the people that attended, the boxing exercises, the resistance training. At the end I lost five pounds and three percent body fat. I also followed a healthy eating plan of eating six meals a day that included vegetables, protein, fruits, etc. When I finished the program I was told by a random person on the bus that they feel inspired by me surviving this extreme workout program and that she wants to be able to do the same. I told her “You can do this! All you need to do is believe in yourself, take it step by step and eat healthy.”
I would recommend anyone who has tried diets and other form of exercise that failed to join. They will feel proud, rewarded, more confident and with a complete lifestyle change at the end!
