National Museum of Mexican Art Opening Reception
Carlos and Dominguez Fine Arts Gallery, 1538 W. Cullerton St.| 6:30- 10 p.m.
Two internationally known Mexican artists, Hector Duarte and Jesus Acuna, will exhibit their new work. The opening reception will help raise funds for an upcoming exhibition at the National Museum of Mexican Art.

Taino Project Student Art Exhibit Opening Reception

Witness the work of 250 students! The Taíno Project is a school-based program that provides professional development for teachers and allows students to work directly with professional artists, and emphasizes cultural connections with the indigenous Taíno people of Puerto Rico. May 30 – June 1
“Festival del Taco” in Little Village
26th Street & Kostner | 6-11p.m. on Friday, 3-10 p.m. on Saturday, and 3-9 p.m. on Sunday | Free
The stuffed tortilla, a true Mexican original and export to the world, will be celebrated in Chicago’s Little Village neighborhood. In addition to food vendors, fest highlights include a music stage, artisans, local merchants and carnival rides (at a cost). A portion of festival proceeds will benefit the neighborhood’s Good Shepherd Catholic Church and Parish.

ULP Kick off:
A Big Queer Latin Wedding
