Morton East High School is proud to partner with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra to host the 2013 Community Concert on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at 7:00pm.
The Community Concert is a special chance for Cicero and neighboring communities to join together to enjoy the “world’s best, Chicago’s own,” Chicago Symphony Orchestra! Maestro Riccardo Muti, CSO Music Director, will lead the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and members of a community chorus made up of members of the CSO Chorus, Morton East Choir and various other choirs representative of Chicago’s city and suburbs. The Community Concert is offered in the spirit of Citizen Musician, sustaining and expanding the role of music in civic and cultural life by creating and enhancing communities through music.
Ticket reservations for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra Community Concert are being offered to the public. Tickets are free of charge; no processing fee applies.
