This weekend The Brown Elephant vintage store opened its doors for its “Brown Elephant Best Of” collection in Chicago. The event highlighted the best designer and vintage clothing and accessories curated from all three Brown Elephant locations. I was impressed with their collection and unique styles.
On Saturday, May 6, and Sunday, May 7, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., the Brown Elephant’s flagship store in the Lakeview neighborhood played host to the company’s “Brown Elephant Best Of ” pop-up event at 3020 N. Lincoln Ave.
Created and curated by the Brown Elephant’s very own Ana Culajay, the event featured an eclectic assortment of designer and vintage clothing and accessories that have been specially curated over the past few months from donations to each of the company’s three stores. Some of the featured designs at an incredibly affordable price were Valentino, Gucci, Alexander McQueen, Moschino, Vivienne Westwood, MISSONI, Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, and other vintage items.
The Brown Elephant Resale Shops support the mission of Howard Brown Health, with profits supporting healthcare services for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) community and our allies who are either uninsured or underinsured.
