State Rep. Lisa Hernandez will host another Temporary Vehicle Drivers License seminar on Jan. 18 at Morton College from 10 p.m. until 1 p.m. The past seminars have helped residents who are undocumented to successfully apply for and obtain Driver’s Licenses under the new Illinois State Law.
Attendees will be able to obtain a transcript of their driving records from a State SoS Mobile Unit from Secretary of State Jesse White’s office. There will also be attorneys on hand to help them understand the records and application process.
“This is a great opportunity for qualified individuals to get the process started to obtain their drivers license,” said Rep. Hernandez.
Hernandez and her staff will conduct a presentation to help attendees better understand the requirements of the new law.
